I’ve been in love with baking for as long as I can remember. In the last 5 years, I’ve fallen even more in love with design and decoration. Rhonda Bakes began as a hobby, and I started off experimenting and delivering these experiments to friends and family for their feedback on taste and design.
As a baker, I believe that the taste and texture of baked goods is equally important to the design. My creations are meant to be eaten and enjoyed! I use the freshest possible ingredients when baking, and make sure that all cake, fillings and icings are made from scratch.
There’s nothing that relaxes me quite like getting in the kitchen and baking up something fantastic – Especially rewarding is working with brides to come up with a beautiful design for their special day.
My speciality is sugar flowers. I love the simple elegance of cake adorned with romantic, life-like blooms and I’m constantly taking classes to learn new techniques that can be implemented in a custom creation for a special event.
I’m so incredibly honored to have the opportunity to be a part of a couple’s special day or to provide the centerpiece of an event by creating a celebration cake. I realize that clients put their trust in me and am proud to exceed expectations by presenting them with something outstanding.
